Returns & Refunds

At African Food San Diego, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you're not entirely happy with your order, we're here to help.

Return Eligibility

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We also accept returns of opened items within 7 days if they are defective or damaged upon arrival.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

• Perishable goods such as fresh produce, meat, or fish (unless damaged upon arrival)
• Gift cards
• Downloadable products
• Personal care items that have been opened
• Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable"

Return Process

1. Contact our customer service team within 30 days of receiving your order
2. Provide your order number and details about the item(s) you wish to return
3. Our team will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number
4. Package the item(s) securely with all original packaging
5. Include the RMA number on the outside of the package
6. Ship the package to the address provided by our customer service team

Processing Time

Once we receive your returned item(s), we will inspect them and notify you of the status of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed within 5-7 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (you received an incorrect or defective item). If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund unless the return is due to our error.

Damaged Items

If you receive damaged items, please contact us immediately with photos of the damage. We will arrange for a replacement or refund as appropriate.
